Ordering & Payment

Browse our shop, add your chosen items to the cart, and proceed to checkout. You can check out as a guest or create a free account to save your details for next time. We'll send you an order confirmation by email as soon as your purchase is complete.
We accept all major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), PayPal, Apple Pay, and Google Pay. All transactions are processed securely via Stripe, which is PCI-DSS compliant. We do not store your card details.
You have a 2-hour window after placing your order to request a modification or cancellation. After that, our makers begin preparing your items and changes may not be possible. Please contact us as soon as possible at hello@handcraftco.ie if you need to make changes.
Absolutely. All payments are processed through Stripe, a globally trusted payment provider with bank-level encryption. We never see or store your full card number. Our site uses HTTPS throughout, and we follow industry best practices for data security.

Shipping & Delivery

Standard delivery within Ireland takes 3–5 working days from dispatch. Express delivery (An Post Express) takes 1–2 working days and is available at checkout for a small additional fee. Please allow an extra 1–3 days for items that are made to order.
Yes! We ship to over 40 countries worldwide. International orders typically arrive within 7–14 working days, depending on your location and the customs process in your country. Any applicable customs duties or import taxes are the responsibility of the recipient.
Standard shipping within Ireland is €4.95 and free on orders over €65. Express shipping is €8.95. EU shipping starts at €9.95 and UK shipping at €11.95. International rates vary by destination and are calculated at checkout. We offset all carbon emissions from our deliveries at no extra cost to you.
Once your order is dispatched, you'll receive an email with your tracking number and a link to the An Post tracking portal. You can also visit our Order Tracking page and enter your order number and email address at any time to check your delivery status.

Returns & Exchanges

We accept returns within 30 days of delivery for items that are unworn, unaltered, and in their original packaging. Personalised or custom orders are non-refundable unless they arrive faulty or damaged. Sale items can be exchanged but not refunded.
Log in to your account and navigate to "My Orders", select the order and item you'd like to return, and follow the steps to generate a prepaid return label. If you checked out as a guest, email us at hello@handcraftco.ie with your order number and we'll get it sorted for you within 24 hours.
Once we receive and inspect your return (typically 2–3 working days after delivery to our warehouse), we'll process your refund to the original payment method within 5 working days. Your bank may take a further 3–5 days to post the credit to your account.
Yes, exchanges are available within 30 days for a different size or colour of the same product, subject to availability. Since many of our pieces are handmade in limited quantities, we recommend contacting us before returning to confirm your preferred alternative is in stock.

Products & Materials

Yes, every single product on Handcraft & Co is made by hand by an independent artisan. Each listing includes details of the maker and their studio. We personally vet every maker who joins our platform to ensure our handmade guarantee is real β€” not just a marketing claim.
Care instructions vary by product and material. You'll find specific guidance on each product page and on the care card included in your parcel. As a general rule, most knitwear should be hand-washed cold and laid flat to dry, and ceramics should avoid dishwashers unless stated otherwise.
Many of our makers welcome custom commissions β€” look for the "Request custom order" button on their maker profile pages. For bespoke requests, lead times are typically 2–6 weeks depending on the complexity. Custom orders require a 50% deposit upfront and are non-refundable once production begins.

Become a Maker

Send us a message via our contact form with the subject "Become a maker", or email hello@handcraftco.ie. We'll ask you to share photos of your work, a brief description of your practice, and your location. We review all applications and aim to respond within 5 working days.
There are no upfront listing fees. We take a 12% commission on each sale, which covers payment processing, marketing, platform maintenance, and customer support. Makers keep 88% of every sale β€” one of the most maker-friendly rates in the industry.
Currently we work primarily with makers based in Ireland and the UK, though we do occasionally feature international artisans whose work complements our collection. If you're based elsewhere, please still reach out β€” we're expanding our maker community steadily.

Wholesale

Yes, we work with select independent retailers, gift shops, and hotel groups. Wholesale orders require a minimum of 10 units per product line. Get in touch via the contact form with "Wholesale" as the subject and we'll send over our full trade pack including pricing and lead times.
Our minimum wholesale order is €500 net. Individual product minimums are 10 units per SKU. We offer tiered pricing with increasing discounts at €1,000, €2,500, and €5,000+ order values. Bespoke branding and custom packaging are available for orders above €2,500.
